Anguilla è un angolo di paradiso situato nei Caraibi, a nord dell’isola di Saint Martin, nelle Piccole Antille.

Come arrivare ad Anguilla:
Ad Anguilla non atterrano voli intercontinentali, ma la vicina isola di St. Martin è ben collegata con gli Stati Uniti e con l’Europa. Un buon modo per raggiungere Anguilla è arrivare a St. Martin e recarsi al porto di Marigot, dove si trovano numerosi collegamenti giornalieri con Blowing Point. Altrimenti è possibile atterrare ad Anguilla a bordo di un volo proveniente da Porto Rico.
Dove soggiornare:
E’ possibile soggiornare a St. Martin e visitare Anguilla in giornata, oppure fermarsi qualche giorno nell’isola. Ad Anguilla ci sono due alternative per quanto riguarda il pernottamento: esistono esclusivi hotel con tutti i comfort per una vacanza da sogno, oppure piccoli B&B posizionati in vari punti dell’sola. Ogni parte di Anguilla è incantevole, l’intero perimetro dell’isola è formato da calette sabbiose e spiagge bianche.
Come muoversi ad Anguilla:
E’ piccola e si gira in breve tempo. Potrebbe essere utile noleggiare un’auto, oppure muoversi con i taxi quando serve, ma tenete presente che alcune spiagge sono raggiungibili solo via mare. E’ indispensabile noleggiare una barca, per esplorare gli angoli più incontaminati e nascosti dell’isola.

How to get to Anguilla:
International flights do not land in Anguilla, but the neighboring island of St. Martin is well connected with the United States and Europe. A good way to get to Anguilla is landing in St. Martin and going to the Marigot’s port, where you will find a lot of connections to Blowing Point. Otherwise, you can land in Anguilla with a direct flight from Puerto Rico.
Where to stay:
It is possible to stay in St. Martin and visit Anguilla making a day trip or stay a few days in the island. In Anguilla, there are two kind of accommodations: luxury hotels with all the amenities for a dream vacation, or small hotels or B&B located in various points of the island. Every part of Anguilla is enchanting; the whole perimeter of the island is made up of sandy bays and white beaches.
Getting around Anguilla:
Anguilla is a little island, therefore it’s possible to reach any place in a short time. It might be useful to rent a car, or move around by taxi, but bear in mind that some of the bays can only be reached by sea. Renting a boat is highly recommended, in order to explore the most unspoiled and hidden corners of the island.

In ogni caso le spiagge assolutamente da non perdere ad Anguilla sono:
Shoal bay east: un chilometro e mezzo di sabbia bianca fine, mare turchese da cartolina, calmo e poco profondo. Qua e là ci sono piccoli locali per mangiare o bere un drink e dove è possibile noleggiare lettini e ombrelloni. Mac and Hank’s sarà un ottima scelta per il pranzo.
Meads bay: molto ampia e spesso deserta, per questo motivo molto tranquilla. E’ davvero difficile uscire dall’acqua.
Crocus bay: magnifica spiaggia dove è possibile tuffarsi dalle alte rocce che la circondano e fare snorkeling nel mare dalle infinite sfumature di blu.
Sandy Island: piccola isola situata sul versante settentrionale di Anguilla, incantevole…
Maundays bay: è la spiaggia di uno degli hotel più lussuosi dei Caraibi, ma chiunque può trascorrere un po’ di tempo in questo angolo di paradiso e fare il bagno nelle sue acque cristalline.
Rendevouz bay: un’altra enorme distesa di sabbia immacolata e soffice, mare turchese e paesaggio da sogno.

In our opinion the following list includes the top beaches of Anguilla:
Shoal bay east: more than a mile of fine white sand, turquoise sea so intense that it looks like a postcard, very calm and shallow. There are several small places to eat and have a drink or where you can hire sunbeds and parasols. Mac and Hank’s will be a good choice for lunch.
Meads bay: very wide and sometimes deserted, for that reason very quiet. It is really hard to get out of the water.
Crocus bay: a gorgeous beach where you can plunge from high rocks and go snorkeling in blue water.
Sandy Island: a little island located in the northern side of Anguilla, so lovely…
Maundays bay is the beach where one of the most luxurious hotels in the Caribbean is located, but anyone can spend a bit of time in this corner of paradise and swim in its crystal water.
Rendevouz bay: another huge expanse of pristine and soft sand, turquoise sea and amazing landscape.
